What is Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor?
Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) is an approach to human psychological development that emphasizes the role of the body in emotional and mental health. PBSP is based on the belief that the mind and body are interconnected, and that working with the body can help to heal the mind. PBSP practitioners use a variety of techniques to help people create new, healthy memories, to eliminate the unhealthy influences of traumatic memories and memories of developmental deficits. The main feature of PBSP is creating new and healthy virtual memories. So the technique first revives painful, traumatic memories, then a new scene is created through role play that mitigates the emotional power of the old memories.
